Huaneng to develop hydropower in Tibet
(Reuters) Huaneng Group, parent of China's top independent power producer, has signed an agreement with the government of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) to build hydroelectric power plants in the area. Further details regarding the possible location and capacity of the plants were not disclosed.
