Tibetans in exile vote
The preliminary round of elections for the 14th Assembly of the Tibetan People's Deputies (ATPD) of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile started today. The election, for the 43 seats, will be held in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Europe and North America, and will bring more than 82,000 exiled Tibetans to the polls. The final round of elections is scheduled for 18 March 2006.
