Official from Tibet Autonomous Region meets Nepali foreign minister
(Xinhua) Dondrup, vice chairman of the People's Political Consultative Conference of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) paid a courtesy call on Nepali Minister for Foreign Affairs Ramesh Nath Pandey at his residence. During the meeting, the two sides reportedly highlighted the need for "building on the existing friendly relations between the two countries for the benefit of future generations". Pandey said the railway linkage between Tibet and other places in the PRC helps Nepal 's development. He also congratulated the TAR government on the 40th anniversary of the founding of the TAR. Dondrup was on an official visit to Nepal, leading a youth delegation of the TAR.
